In 2010, the Truman Council's region was designated by the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA) as an Economic Development District (EDD). Designation as an EDD is beneficial to our region because we are able to plan regionally. The Truman Council Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy for our region has been accepted by the EDA.
