Harry S Truman Coordinating Council (HSTCC)
The Harry S. Truman Coordinating Council Regional Planning Commission, serving Southwest Missouri since 1991, provides comprehensive and coordinated planning to shape a vision for the future growth of the region.
The HSTCC region covers a total of 2,404 sq. miles with an estimated population of *206,892, and includes Barton, Jasper, McDonald, and Newton County. * Estimated by University of Missouri Extension Social and Economic Profile 2006
HSTCC is the place where visions and ideas about our growing region are created, designed, discussed, and embraced. We are a voluntary association of local governments serving southwest Missouri. A catalyst for regional change, evidence of our work is seen everyday through planning, programming and public policy in the areas of economic development, solid waste, housing, transportation, hazard mitigation and land use.
